For much of its near-200 year existence, The Old House has been known as 'The Old House at Home'. And whilst the word 'Home' no longer features in the pub's name, there's no doubt that this remains the overwhelming feeling.

Landlords Nobby and Craig and their staff will welcome you into this lovely country pub.
Nobby and Craig are bringing their own brand of dining to The Old House. Both chefs, they are well known in the local area, having between them previously cooked at The Old House, The Horns, The Cherry Tree at Stoke Row, and most recently The Queen Victoria at Hare Hatch.
A varied food offering, emphasising fresh, seasonal, local ingredients at sensible prices, seeks to ensure that there is something for every appetite and taste. As a Free House, The Old House offers an exciting range of drinks, including an extensive and interesting wine list.
The Old House is in glorious countryside between Maidenhead and Henley, and is an ideal base or stopping-off point for walkers, cyclists and those enjoying the various local attractions and events.
